Although not definitely proven as a son of Ira Sr., George, Ira Sr., and Ira Jr. are the only Barnards enumerated for Hamburg, NY in 1850, with George listed only one page from presumed brother Ira Jr. and his age, at 36 years, agrees withthat of Ira Jr.'s brother who was also in the 20 to less than 30 year old range living in the household of Ira Sr. in the 1840 census. Further, George did not have an independent listing in Hamburg in the 1840 census.
