Barnard died Saturday morning at his home 41 Bedford Street after a long illness. Besides his wife, heleaves a son, Arthur F. Barnard; a daughter, Doris M. Barnard; a brother Arthur T. Barnard, all of Hartford; a sister, Mrs. G. H. Spellman, of Winsted. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a. m., at the funeral home of Farley & Molloy, 129 Capitol Avenue. Burial will be in Colebrook Cemetery, Colebrook.

Barnard of 41 Bedford Street died Saturday morning after a long illness. He was employed by the "New Haven" road for 19 years. Mr. Barnard was born in Colebrook, and was a son of Julius Barnard, a former state representative of that town, and Caroline Mallison Barnard. He had been a resident of this city for 25 years. Besides his wife, Elizabeth Gavin Barnard, he leaves a daughter, Doris M. Barnard; a son, Arthur F. Barnard of Hartford; a sister, Mrs. GeorgeH. Spellman of Winsted; also two sisters-in-law, Mrs. George Kelly of Hartford and Miss Mary A. Gavin of Winsted, and abrother-in-law, James W. Gavin of New Britain. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a. m. at the funeral home of Farley & Molloy, 129 Capitol Avenue. Burial will be in Colebrook Cemetery, Colebrook.
