She was born in Burlington, VT, daughter of the late Frank and Clara (Hart) Breen and lived in East Hartford for many years. Prior to her retirement she was a Dispatcher for the Hartford Police Department. She was a member of the East Hartford Lodge of Elks. She leaves two sisters, Leona Balon of Vernon, Helen Paquin of Burlington, VT; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Monday, (Aug. 31), 9:15 a.m., from the Farley- Sullivan FuneralHome, 50 Naubuc Avenue, Glastonbury, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Isaac Jogues Church, 1 Community St., East Hartford. Burial will be in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. on Sunday.
