Obituary transcript, The Spirit, per Nora Thayer (taron@birman.net), family tree posted on Ancestry.com, view by WMB 6 Mar. 2004: SARAH DINGER, 83, Reynoldsville, Dies Mrs. Sarah Dinger, of 522 Grant Street, Reymoldsville, died Thursday inthe DuBois Hospital following a brief illness. She was 83 years of age. Mrs. Dinger was born march 22, 1879, in Prescottville, a daughter of John H. and Isabella Barnard Corbett. She was married in 1909 to Charles M. Dinger who died in June of this year. She was a member of Presbyterian Church, in Reynoldsville, and had been the church organist for 25 years. She belonged to the DAR. She was a lifelong resident of the Reynoldsville area. Surviving are a son and a daughter: Charles W. Dinger, of Reynoldsville and Mrs. Eugene Barnard, of Brewster, N.Y. Surviving also are five grandchjildren, twogreat-grandchildren and a sister, Miss Georgie Corbett, of Reynoldsville. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Ober Funeral Home in Reynoldsville. The Rev. William J. Foster, Jr., will officiate and burial will be in the Reynoldsville Cemetery. Friends will be received in the funeral home after 7 o'clock tonight.

Dinger, 91, of 522 Grant Street, Reynoldsville, died Monday following a lengthy illness. Mr. Dinger, a former postmaster in Reynoldsville, was the owner of the Reynoldsville Hardware and Furniture store. He had been a lifelong resident of the area. He was born Sept. 15, 1870, in Emerickville, a son of David and Ellen Siverling Dinger and was married first to Sally Weiser, ceceased, and later married Sarah Corbitt. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and belonged to the K. of P. and the Sons of Veterans Lodge. Surviving are his wife; a son, Charles W., of Reynoldsville, a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Ruth) Barnard, of Brewster, N. Y.; a sister Mrs. Minnie Himes, of Detroit; five grandchildren and two grea-grandchldren. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the Ober Funeral home in Reynoldsville. The Rev. William J. Foster, Jr., will officiate and burial will be in the Reynoldsville Cemetery. Friends will be received in the funeral home.
