      "Probate record of Sally Barnard of Hartford: On Oct. 3, 1818 John Hubbard of Windsor + Aaron Cadwell of Hartford gave bond of $300.00. Inventory, approved Oct. 3, 1819, taken by Ebenezer Barnard and Oliver Barnard = $300.87; Debts $59.25.Estate was distributed July 5, 1827 as follows:

      "To Harvey Barnard, one-ninth part bound south on Noah Griswold's land, north on Achsah Goodwin;

      "To Achsah Goodwin, one-ninth part bound south on Harvey Barnard and north on Mabel Hubbard;

      "To Mabel Hubbard, one-ninth part bound south on Achsah Goodwin and north on Samuel Barnard;

      "To Samuel Barnard, one ninth part bound south on Mabel Hubbard and north on Milton Barnard;

      "To Milton Barnard, one-ninth part, bound south on Samuel Barnard and north on Abner Barnard;

      "To Abner Barnard, one-ninth part bound south on Milton Barnard and north on Roseana Woodbridge;

      "To Roseana Woodbridge, one-ninth part bound south on Abner Barnard and north on Matilda Cadwell.

      "To Matilda Cadwell, one-ninth part bound south on Roseanna Woodbridge and north on Electa Barnard.

      "To Electa Barnard, one-ninth part bound south on Matilda Cadwell and north on land belonging to each of the above-named nine heirs in equal shares, not distributed, being under the encumbrance of their mother Roseana Barnard's one-third to use and improve during her natural life.

      "Each of above pieces of land is bounded east on highway, west on Ebenezer Barnard's land having a road running across the same, and each of above heirs are to own an equal share in the division fence that belonged to the said Sally Barnard next to the Noah Griswold land lyeth in Windsor except a small part in the west end lying in Simsbury. The above shares are each of them between 17 + 18 links in width at each end, that is to say 17 links + 5/9 of a link. Dated Windsor, Dec. 5, 1827 -- Zadock Brown, Eli Brown"---per notes of Eileen B.
