Significant inconsistencies between data of David Evans and others occur in the birth years of Hannah, Joseph, Thomas, and Samuel.
The detailed information of Evans posted on the Internet lists three marriages for Francis, rather than two, with son Joseph born to the first wife, and other children to the second; it omits Ebenezer, son of Joseph (d. 1695); and it expands on the lineage of John, son of Joseph (d. 1695). Evans's data are consistent with, and more extensive than, those provided on the Internet's Ancestry.com website for information submitted by jplittle@bellsouth.net.
