M. Barnard, The Hartford Courant, 2 Sept. 1911 Obituary of Lizzie M. Sessions Barnard, The Hartford Courant, 2 Sept. 1911: Mrs. S. M. Barnard Mrs. Sidney M. Barnard died at the Barnard residence on Washington street, Forestville, early Thursday morning after a long illness. She was 40 years old and was born in Burlington, her parents being Willard F. and Roxana Bacon Sessions. Mrs. Barnard was married on June 10, 1886, to Sidney M. Barnard and most of her married life has been spent in Forestville where she has been held in high esteem. Besides her husband, she is survived by her parents, one daughter, Mrs. NelsonAlexander; two grandchildren and one half-brother, George B. Sessions. The funeral will be held at the house in Forestville this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. H. S.
