Obituary of Amanda C. (Barchfield) Barnard, The Hartford Courant, 20 Feb. 1926: Mrs. W. Lincoln Barnard. Mrs. Amanda C.(Barchfield) Barnard, 57 years old, of Windsor, formerly of this city, died Thursday night at the home of her daughter,Mrs. William A. Goodrich of Lindsley avenue, East Hartford. Mrs. Barnard was born in this city, a daughter of JosephineBarchfield, and the late Jacob Barchfield. She leaves, besides her daughter, her husband; a son, Kenneth W. Barnard of New Haven; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Robert E. Pyne of Hartford; and her mother. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30 p. m. at the home of her sister, at No. 15 Hebron street.
